As the 2026 season draws to a close, and before preparations for the next one begin, we’d like to take a moment to reflect on what has been an incredibly successful year for our players and partner clubs.

Like every season, there have been challenges along the way, but they have been far outweighed by the many highs. Above all, we are proud of every player who has taken the leap to travel across the world in pursuit of the sport they love.

Playing cricket overseas is about far more than runs, wickets and results.

It means stepping into a new environment, adapting to a different culture, becoming part of a new club and community, and representing yourself professionally both on and off the field.

That takes courage, commitment and character.

Cricket, that shared passion that brings communities together.

Wherever in the world you may call home, cricket is most likely a sport that is celebrated and cherished by its surrounding community.

It is a sport that embraces everyone, there is a place for you and I no matter our gender, race, ability or status.

I have had the pleasure of sharing the game I love with the richest men to the poorest children. No one is off limits when it comes to this game.
