2026 UK Season Recap

As the 2026 season draws to a close, and before preparations for the next one begin, we’d like to take a moment to reflect on what has been an incredibly successful year for our players and partner clubs.

Like every season, there have been challenges along the way, but they have been far outweighed by the many highs. Above all, we are proud of every player who has taken the leap to travel across the world in pursuit of the sport they love.

Playing cricket overseas is about far more than runs, wickets and results.

It means stepping into a new environment, adapting to a different culture, becoming part of a new club and community, and representing yourself professionally both on and off the field.

That takes courage, commitment and character.

Throughout 2026, our players have embraced those opportunities, built new friendships, experienced different cricketing cultures, contributed to their clubs and given everything to perform to the very best of their ability.

For many players, an overseas placement is a chance to develop their game and test themselves in a completely different environment. Just as importantly, it can create memories and relationships that last long beyond the season itself.
